At what age do you want your children to learn about sex?
At what age should they learn about certain things to do with sex, puberty, pregnancy, dating etc.? Would you tell them about these things or want them to learn these things from school? If you have already done this with your children, what age were they and do you think you told them too early, too late or at a good time?

The other day, Indian action star Sanjay Duttâs good-humoured drawl caught my attention on FM. In an interview, Dutt was saying, yes, Munnabhaiâs bond with Circuit was pretty awesome, something that none of his screen characters had ever shared with another man.
Question by Akkita: How long should FEMA pay displaced storm survivors ? It's only been 18 months?
U.S. District Judge Richard J. Leon said the Federal Emergency Management Agency failed to adequately explain why it ended the 18-month housing assistance program for people who lost their homes in the 2005 storm. ~~And now for the fraud some commited against the taxpayers~~ To dramatize the problem, GAO provided lawmakers with a copy of a ,358 U.S. Treasury check for rental assistance that an undercover agent got using a bogus address. The government doled out as much as .4 billion in bogus assistance to victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, getting hoodwinked to pay for football season tickets, a tropical vacation and even a divorce lawyer, congressional investigators have found.
Prison inmates, a supposed victim who used a New Orleans cemetery for a home address, and a person who spent 70 days at a Hawaiian hotel all were able to wrongly get taxpayer help, according to evidence that gives a new black eye to the nationâs disaster relief agency.
Federal investigators even informed Congress that one man apparently used FEMA assistance money for a sex change operation.

Answer by airforcemom79 Take a test you may be pregnant, you may be having implantation bleeding. which implantation bleeding if it occurs a bit earlier than expected, if it were scanty, spotty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period, and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light).

The male peafowl, or peacock, has long been known for and valued for its brilliant tail feathers. The bright spots on it are known as "eyes", and inspired the Greek myth that Hera placed the hundred eyes of her slain giant Argus on the tail of her favorite bird. Close-up of a male Indian Peafowl's plumage
Indian Peafowl has iridescent blue-green or green coloured plumage. The so-called "tail" of the peacock, also termed the "train," is not the tail quill feathers but highly elongated upper tail feather coverts. The train feathers have a series of eyes that are best seen when the train is fanned. The actual tail feathers are short and gray-colored and can be seen from behind when a peacock's train is fanned in a courtship display. During the molting season, the males shed their stunning train feathers and reveal the unassuming gray-colored tail which is normally hidden from view beneath the train. Both species have a crest atop the head.
The female (peahen) Indian Peafowl has a mixture of dull green, brown, and grey in her plumage. She lacks the long upper tail feather coverts of the male but has a crest. The female can also display her plumage to ward off female competition or danger to her young.
The Green Peafowl is very different in appearance to the Indian Peafowl. The male has green and gold plumage and has an erect crest. The wings are black with a sheen of blue.
Unlike the Indian Peafowl, the Green Peahen is very similar to the male, only having shorter upper tail feather coverts and slightly less iridescent in some regions. Like other peafowl, it is very difficult to distinguish a juvenile male from an adult female. Moreover, the sexes of the various Green Peafowl species are almost impossible to tell apart in the field during the months when the male has no train.
Many of the brilliant colours of the peacock plumage are due to an optical interference phenomenon (Bragg reflection) based on (nearly) periodic nanostructures found in the barbules (fiber-like components) of the feathers.
Different colours correspond to different length scales of the periodic structures. For brown feathers, a mixture of red and blue is required: one colour is created by the periodic structure, and the other is a created by a Fabry-Perot interference peak from reflections off the outermost and innermost boundaries of the periodic structure.[citation needed]
Such interference-based structural colour is especially important in producing the peacock's iridescent hues (which shimmer and change with viewing angle), since interference effects depend upon the angle of light, unlike chemical pigments.
The plumage of the peacock, and the peahen's preference for its exorbitance, is a classical example of sexual selection and especially the handicap principle. However, in recent years scientific research has shown that the size and brilliance of a male's plumage does not meaningfully correlate with his mating success nor his health, and that instead the key factor for attracting females is the vocalizations made prior to mating.

The Rainbow Lorikeet is unmistakable with its bright red beak and colourful plumage. Both sexes look alike, with a blue (mauve) head and belly, green wings, tail and back, and an orange/yellow breast. They are often seen in loud and fast-moving flocks, or in communal roosts at dusk. The Rainbow Lorikeet occurs in coastal regions across northern and eastern Australia, with a local population in Perth (Western Australia), initiated from aviary releases. The Rainbow Lorikeet mostly forages on the flowers of shrubs or trees to harvest nectar and pollen, but also eats fruits, seeds and some insects. The eggs of the Rainbow Lorikeet are laid on chewed, decayed wood, usually in a hollow limb of a eucalypt tree. Both sexes prepare the nest cavity and feed the young, but only the female incubates the eggs. The Rainbow Lorikeet has acclimatised well to urbanisation and is commonly encountered in well-treed suburbs. www.birdsinbackyards.net/finder/display.cfm?id=97
Meghan & Me
There's a story about a ski trip we all went on a long time ago and Meghan (Maureen's little sister) came with us. The word "cleaning" became a euphemism for sex and even though this is only the second or third time most of us have ever hung out with Meghan, she will forever be associated with "cleaning."

Question by Rgd Gdrg: How hard would it be for me to get a girl? I don't really have any confidence?
How much of a difference would having confidence make? I feel like it wouldn'nt make a difference and girls will still judge me
I'm the nicest sweetest guy, but girls always look at me and give a look that shows that they wonder why I walk like that. How am I suppose to not be nervous, and think they want to get close to me or at least be friends, personality wise, I am too good for the girls that never looked through that flaw, but how do I find a girl when i'm scared and have teh mindset that most girls won't look past it. first impression matters, so I have a bad first impression in a way, how do i move on?
I have a leg problem, which when I walk I limp a decent amount, so sometimes people look at me and prob wonder why I walk like that. A lot of girls I talk to say "you're so nice" "generous" and things like that. I think I have an amazing personality, compared to most guys, but I feel that girls won't like me for the way that I walk. I'm in college at some crazy public school, and never met girls like this, everyone seems all drama and just sex on looks. I have gotten compliments on my looks from girls saying i'm cute, and I don't think they are just trying to be nice, since i heard it a lot. I just feel sort of depressed and a lack of motivation since it feels like no one will love me for who I am. it seems that it is all about "first impression". I'm now nervous when i'm near cute girls since i get thee feeling they will think i'm weird. ugh idk, :/
All i have is anxiety that no one will like me for who i am:/ like i'm soo real, nice and generous! I drive a 50 grand car in colkege and dont take it thst im acting snobby, but that walking problem is the only problem i have, like i'm from a very wealthy, strong religious family too! I just need someone to offer what i have to offer but this stupid big limp makes me look so weird and i always have in my mind 24/7 that "who wants to be with a disabled" i really dont know if it's anxiety or reality right now
Like everyone tells me about hooking up with hot girls and just having a fun time at parties, i mean i was never really into that stuff, since i'm more into personality, but after hearing it everyday, i really feel like im missing out, and i worry that girls will judge me even if i go to a party
Keep in mind that it's college, most people want sex, high ego e.c.t, and i am verry very insecure about it And im really sensitive so when i get hurt i keep it inside me
I'm studying engineering, and soon it's going to take over my life, like soo much studying everyday, the first year is not bad. like idk what to do, I want some one to look past my flaws :/
Plus this close friend that i chill with everyday, the only girl, is very shallow and judgemental. Now i have the nature that most girls are like this. And i just moved on from trying today.

Answer by RJ "it feels like no one will love me for who I am" -- do you u love urself for who u r? sounds like u r judging urself a lot -- good at this, not good at that, so on... that seems like a lot of mental pressure right there... also being focused on urself too much detracts from paying attention to others... go do smth where there r no expectations of you to be this way or that way--like volunteer w/animals or kids may be, do some artwork, theater (role playing wld be perfect to release those pent up emotions!)... just do smth different to get ur mind flow more at peace...
"im really sensitive so when i get hurt i keep it inside me"--hmm... if u don't open up, others will sense it & close-off also or will push to try to break thru--neither is too much fun... try finding creative outlets for your emotions--definitely don't hold them inside for too long--it'll be like poisoning urself from the inside...
Lastly, look for girls in places u haven't tried before.. why keep doing what hasn't worked? think out-of-the box!
A girl who is Pisces, Virgo, Scorpio or Cancer wld probably a good fit for you... just guessing :) go find one! :)) they r typically into Psychology, nursing, health, religion/spirituality--may be volunteer to be a Psych study subject? tutor math to ppl from those majors? attend seminars on related topics? just some ideas... good luck!
